Find markets and understand odds
When you open the jeetbuzz betting page, you will see a list of different sports. In cricket, markets like Match Winner, Over/Under, and Points are organized in separate sections. Clicking on a market shows the team name with a number beside it — that number is the odds.
The same odds in three formats (Team A to win, stake ৳1,000):
Decimal 2.50 = Fractional 3/2 = American +150
If you win, you get back ৳2,500 (৳1,500 profit + ৳1,000 original stake); if you lose, ৳1,000 is gone.
Favourite odds (Team B to win):
Decimal 1.50 = Fractional 1/2 = American -200
A ৳1,000 stake returns ৳1,500 if you win (৳500 profit).
Decimal odds are the simplest — multiply the stake by the odds to get the total return. In American format, a minus (-) means favourite and a plus (+) means underdog. jeetbuzz uses decimal format by default, but you can change it from the settings.
An example from a limited-overs cricket match: Team A odds 1.80, Team B odds 2.00. A ৳500 bet on Team B returns ৳1,000 if Team B wins (৳500 profit); if Team A wins, the full ৳500 is lost. Read more about cricket betting on our cricket page.
Single bet and multi bet — how to use them
Clicking on any market automatically adds it to the bet slip — usually visible on the right side or at the bottom of the screen. Enter the stake amount in the slip and it shows the potential return right away.
Single bet: one bet on one market. The calculation is straightforward — odds × stake = total return.
Multi bet (accumulator): adding multiple markets to the bet slip multiplies their odds together. For example — if three events have odds of 1.40, 1.70, and 1.90, the combined odds are 1.40 × 1.70 × 1.90 = 4.52 (approximately). A ৳100 stake returns ৳452 — but all three selections must win; if any one loses, the full ৳100 is gone.
Before confirming a bet, check every selection and the stake on the slip once more — no changes can be made after confirmation.
Sports betting and casino games — what is the difference
Sports Betting
Bets are placed on specific markets within cricket, football, and other sports matches. You can bet before the match starts (pre-match) or while it is in progress (in-play). Odds change quickly during in-play, so you need to stay attentive.

Betting Exchange
On an exchange, you can not only back but also lay. For example — backing Team A at decimal 2.50 with a ৳500 stake gives ৳750 profit before commission if they win. Laying Team A means you receive ৳500 if they do not win, but you are liable for ৳750 if they do.

Open and settled bets — view your history
After placing a bet, go to the "My Bets" or "Bet History" section of your account and you will find two tabs — Open Bets (still in progress) and Settled Bets (already finished).
The Open Bets tab shows which match you have staked on, what the selection is, and the potential return. Once the match ends, it moves to the Settled tab — winnings are added to your balance, and losing stakes are deducted.
For multi bets, the result of each selection is shown separately. If any one selection loses, the entire multi bet is shown as lost.
